Vision for Education in Nebraska – Public Hearings

The Education Committee of the Nebraska Legislature has developed a draft document of a common vision for education.  Please visit the Education Committee’s website to read the draft document, as well as get additional information about their visioning process.  Public hearings will be held to listen to Nebraskan’s reactions to this document and their vision for education in Nebraska.   Upcoming hearings include October 15, 2014 at Northeast Community College’s Lifelong Learning Center in Norfolk and October 16th at Broken Bow high school auditorium in Broken Bow.  The hearings will be at 1:30pm. The Committee will consider the input provided as they finalize the common vision for education in Nebraska.  We strongly encourage you to attend a hearing and share your input and the importance for ELO programming to be included in their vision for education.
